Are you in crisis? 

Experiencing a life-threatening issue, in an emergency, or in crisis?

  • ON-CAMPUS: Call the Special Constable Service at 519-888-4911.
  • OFF-CAMPUS: Visit your local emergency department or call 9-1-1. 

If you need primary medical care or mental health services, you can contact Campus Wellness. Helpline resources are also available for students: Good2Talk (1-866-925-5454), Here 24/7 (1-844-437-3247), Crisis Services Canada (1-833-456-4566), or EmpowerMe (1-844-741-6389).


Counselling Services

Counselling Services is a team of professionals who provide support, service coordination, and referrals at no charge to help you lead a healthy life. They strive to provide a safe and equitable environment for all students.

  • We are in two locations, Needles Hall North and Health Services.

Math Faculty Counsellors

There are counsellors who are designated for students registered in Faculty of Mathematics programs. Their offices are located in the Needles Hall North.

Please note that counselling sessions are held by appointment only. 

To book an appointment, please phone Counselling Services at 519-888-4567, ext. 32655 or visit their location on the second floor in Needles Hall North, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Why go to counselling?

You are welcome to share a range of challenges with a counsellor. For example, they may include anxiety, depression, internet use/gaming, substance use, sleep, relationships, and safety.

A counsellor may offer support, engage in problem-solving, and inform you about resources.
