Biotechnology/Economics

Biotechnology/Economics is a program within the Faculty of Science and is focused on making an economical impact in commercial biotechnology, genomics, medical diagnostics, pollution monitoring, and more. The current program is offered as a co-op only major where students will examine technology from a business perspective and use scientific analysis to solve cutting-edge business problems.

This major is currently available for those students enrolled in the program. Starting in September 2021, Biotechnology/Economics will no longer accept students into the program. Students already enrolled in the program will be able to finish their degree and graduate from the program, but no new admissions will be available.
