How I get involved: I've been an excutive member of a few clubs on campus such as uwrighttoplay and the Biomedical sciences student association and I'm planning to join more clubs this term! Ive also volunteered with U at Waterloo day, and Science ready day earlier this year. I also volunteered at the science CnD this past spring term and I'm volunteering again this fall and winter term. I was also an orinetation leader welcoming students before the start of this term! Outside of school, I volunteer at the hospital whenever I have free time :)

How I get involved: I am the co-president of UW Healthcare Symposium, where we run pitch competitions, healthcare themed events, and skills workshops for students at the university. I enjoy being a part of such an amazing team with so many other like minded people! Getting involved with this club has helped me make so many meaningful connections with my peers as well as healthcare and industry professionals. Additionally, in September I was a science orientation leader for incoming undergraduate students. I thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity, and I loved mentoring the new incoming science students at Waterloo!

How I get involved: I am a teaching assistant (TA) and a volunteer notetaker with accessibility services for various courses. I am a member of the brain exercise initiative and the Pre-med club and I am currently on an intramural team for volleyball. Not only that, but I am a research assistant in the Department of Kinesiology where I study cardiovascular and pulmonary physiology. Furthermore, I am also completing my Undergraduate Thesis with the chemical engineering department, where I am using CRISPR-cas9 to express protein products in recombinant baculovirus expression vectors.

How I get involved: During my three years of undergrad before entering the Pharmacy program, I was fortunate to serve as a residence ambassador, O-week leader, Outreach Coordinator for Hemoglobal, VP of Operations for the Muslim Student Association (MSA), and Fundraising Executive for the Orphan Sponsorship Program (OSP). Currently, as a pharmacy student, I remain an active member of the MSA on campus and have also taken on the role of Co-Competitions Coordinator for the Canadian Association of Pharmacist Students and Interns (CAPSI). In addition to being a Science Ambassador, I also got the privilege of being a Pharmacy Ambassador.
